This textile was seen on a research visit by Khesheli Chishi and Kitoli Naje Sema Naga women from Nagaland and Vibha Joshi on the 23/24th October 2012. They commented that akhomi should be spelt akhumi. [FB 29/10/2012]

This textile was seen by Ngutoli Y Swu (a Sümi Naga researcher) on a research visit between 17-19 January 2023. The current correct spelling of this kind of textile is aqhumi. [BLJS 19/01/2023]
