Description
Shoulder bag made of bright blue cotton textile woven with occasional multicoloured stripes.
Long description
Shoulder bag made of bright blue cotton textile woven with occasional multicoloured stripes. The bag has supplementary geometrical designs in white, red, green and yellow yarn. At the bottom edge there are two sets of bright blue tassels which hang down from the base of the strip of textile that make up the shoulder strap. The bag appears to be unused. Although this style of bag is found throughout Southeast Asia it is most likely that this bag was collected at the same time as other pieces in Mrs Bromfield's collection in Southwest China.
