Description
Ceremonial wooden quiver, used at bear-ceremonial dances
Long description
Ceremonial quiver used at bear-ceremonial dances. The quiver is made of two pieces of wood sandwiched together with a split between the two pieces. The pieces are joined together with pieces of wood nailed onto either side. A string of twisted plant fibre is attached to a side piece of wood. The quiver is oval in section. The front has carved decoration. The front is also decorated with convex circles of metal. [MJD 09/01/2014]
