Long description
Doll made from a piece of corncob with a wax moulded head and ?arms and a grey textile skirt. The doll has been fashioned with a large flat head-piece marked with many circular indentations. Below this, at the top of the corncob, is a band of wax with white seeds inlaid. Below this, about a quarter of the way down the corncob are two moulded points of wax, possibly representing the figure's breasts. Running down the back of the corncob is a length of wax with white seeds inlaid. The grey textile 'skirt' is very roughly made.
