- Long description
- Fan with wooden guardsticks and thin wooden leaves held together with thin string. The leaves do not reach the full height of the guardsticks. The leaves and guardsticks are joined at the bottom by a wooden nail, which also acts as the central pivot for the fan. The leaves are cut to roughly leaf like shapes, and have been cut to ornate symmetrical designs down their lengths. The top sections of the guardsticks are long and thin. The whole is unpainted. Some of the leaves have been torn at one of the guardsticks and are fragile. [LKG 23/09/2009]
