Description
Cylindrical bamboo tinder-box. For the bamboo lid with attached bead strings and bone for suspension see [1934.25.27 .2]. [CW [OPS Move] 27/3/2017]
Long description
The box is carved and partly stained red with 'dragon's blood'. The base is notched. Decorated with narrow bands of incised geometric designs. A braided plant fibre band dyed red and purple is bound around the middle.
