- Long description
- Carved and painted wooden club. The handle is rounded and undecorated apart from a hole perforated at the end. The top half of the club is canoe shaped with carved triangular protrusions on two sides. At the base of the protrusions small holes are perforated through, some of these perforations contain the remnants of plant fibre textile suggesting the attachment of further ornaments. Red and black painting shows geometric patterns and figures. [El.B 07/10/2008]
