Long description
Fan of woven strips of palm leaf with a black and yellow-gold binding at the top of the handle. The head of the fan is golden-yellow and its upper two sides have been edged with a narrow border of tighter more regular weave than the rest of the fan. The handle is of red-brown wood. The section of binding at the top of the handle is arranged so there is a pattern of short rectangles in the yellow-gold leaf, running down the length of the handle. [LKG 28/09/2009]
