- Horn for gunpowder, of very dark brown horn with a ?wooden base and a spring pourer with iron pin. For attached objects see 1934.12.30.1-11 [SM 02/11/2007]
- Long description
- Leather bandolier belt, with other objects attached by metal rivets and loops. The belt itself, 1934.12.30 .1, is of leather. The other objects are attached to it by metal rivets and loops. The powder flask, 1934.12.30 .2, has a body of leather and a neck of soft leather or textile. It has a pouring tube of incised metal. The powder horn, 1934.12.30 .3 is of very dark brown horn with a ?wooden base. It has a spring pourer. The priming horn, 1934.12.30 .4, is of lighter horn also with a ?wooden base and a spring pourer. The charge holders 1934.12.30 .5 - .11 are of metal, cone shaped, open at the narrow end of the cone. All except 1934.12.30 .6 and 1934.12.30 .7 have textile stoppers attached to the metal loop (at the top of the charge holder attaching it to the belt) with a leather strip. [MdeA]
