Long description
Dagger [.1] with leather sheath [.2] to which is attached a tinder-pouch [.3] containing flint [.4], steel [.5] and tinder [.6]. The sheath is wrapped in blue and cream coloured cotton. The sheath has a bundle of blue and cream coloured cotton as a carrying strap. The tinder pouch is decorated with two tassels of leather strips and a string of coins. The handle of the dagger is made of incised white metal and decorated with coloured leather at the top. [MJD 17/11/2014]
