Information from Jim Hammill of Students Room, BM: They have collection of material from C.W. Rosset expedition [NB despite accession book entry they confirm it is Rosset which sounds more likely than Rosseto] received by them in 1890 but they do not have any other documentation, some of their artefacts came from Cambodia as well. A copy of the BM register slips is in RDF. From them it seems to be clear that the Rosset objects were actually given by A.W. Franks (perhaps given via?] on 27 October 1890. Where possible I have matched the similar sounding objects to our objects [AP 9/9/2002]
This object does not sound similar to any of the Rosset objects which are in the BM [AP 16/9/2002]
Note that the letter referred to in the accession book entry is certainly not in the object RDF [AP 16/9/2002]
