Padded fighting hat with three flaps. [MJD 25/03/2013]
Long description
Padded fighting hat with three flaps. The hat is conical. The hat is padded with vertical quilting lines. There are three long flaps attached to the brim; two ear flaps tied above the hat and the third flap hangs down the back. The brim is black with white stitched triangles. Inside the hat is a long strip of white cotton textile. There is a plaited band of white cotton textile around the hat. Hanging from the front of the hat are two strings; one strung with small squares of red, yellow, blue and green textile. The second string has tufts of green, yellow and white cotton.
