Long description
Dagger [.1] with two edged blade and flared wooden handle. In leather sheath [.2] with twisted arm ring. The dagger blade has a central ridge on both surfaces and is decorated with stamped crescents and incised cross hatching on both surfaces. The handle is flared at both ends and has a small copper alloy disc stuck to the butt with an iron nail. The sheath has a ?crocodile skin bound mouth and is decorated with stamped geometric designs on one surface. It has a twisted leather arm loop that is attached to the sheath with a plaited leather loop. [SM 19/06/2007]
