- Rickshaw lantern. Circular wooden base and top, with concertinaed paper between the two. Metal chain runs the internal length and hooks onto the bent wood stand [1899.46.30 .2] along with a bent metal wire handle attached to the top. [MOBB [OPS move] 29/6/2017]

- Description taken from Conservation Card by Juliet Ceresol [This Conservation Card provides two possible accession numbers for the object treated. These are: 1899.46.30 and 1899.46.31] - undated - Rickshaw lantern. Collapsible paper lantern with wooden hoops as frames. Wooden base and top store/protect lantern when shut. There is a wooden handle running up the height of one side which curves over the top. A metal handle attached to the wooden 'lid' holds the lantern open when hooked over top edge of handle. A metal chain runs from the base to the handle through lid keeping it straight. (Juliet Ceresol - undated 15/11/2001) [LKG 02/03/2009]
