- Long description
- Black-ware pottery bowl with a flat base, flaring sides and a wide mouth. The rim has a step cornice decoration. Crosshatch decoration on the shoulder with alternating triangles, incised crescents and diagonal lines. Within each are differing patterns that include punch marks. The body is burnished and plain. Wide plaited cord tassle that is looped through two perforations in the rim. Thin wide wooden projection attached to the plait. [ASh [OPS move] 07/03/2016]
