Research and responses: Henry Balfour visited Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday 29th September 1914 on the return journey from his trip to Australia for the British Association for the Advancement of Science meeting and saw Robinson when he must have been given this object. His diary reads: "Spent rest of morning at the Selangor Museum with H.C. Robinson (director) + C.Boden Kloss, + lunched with them in their bungalow." [CRFW 27/1/2003]
