Chopping knife with curved single-edged blade with curved barb on the spine and a wooden hilt. [SM 17/05/2007]
Long description
Chopping knife with curved single-edged blade with curved barb on the spine and a wooden hilt. The hilt is bound with four bands of undecorated ?silver. A fifth band is attached around the join between the hilt and blade. This is decorated with an incised floral design. The butt has a hollow cylindrical piece of bone attached around it. A section of this has broken off. [SM 17/05/2007]
