Long description
One of a pair of ear-ornaments made of boars tusks with a rosette of red hair, coix seeds, and beetles' elytra (supported by a metal cone), and a long fringe of red dyed hair. The top of the tusk is bound with red dyed cane and woven with yellow orchid stem. There is a piece of black wool tied to the tusk. The rosette is mounted on a wooden stick which is inserted in the top of the tusk. [MJD DDF Body Arts Project 2010/2011 22/10/2010]
