- Hanai inai, glazed porcelain pottery sherd. Originally part of a plate, the sherd bears maroon printed decoration on a white background. The interior surface has a printed pattern of maroon lines, while the underside is plain white. The local name 'hanainaie' refers to large plates, usually of Chinese origin, which constitute sacred valuables used in ritual and in exchange at marriage.
