Description
Decorative plate with Kyoto Gionmatsurí design.
Long description
Small wooden decorative plate with bamboo covering and painted design of the Gion festival in Kyoto, Japan. The front of the plate depicts two plants with brown leaves in red bases and Japanese characters, which likely translate to 'Gionmatsurí'. The reverse has a dark brown and yellow flower pattern painted on a brown background. The rim of the plate is painted red and there is a white rectangular sticker with 'Gionmatsurí' handwritten in black pen on the reverse.
