Long description
Mexican dollar with an eagle design on one side overprinted with a square inked stamp of Chinese text. Below the eagle is a border of leaves, and the words 'REPUBLICA MEXICANA'. On the reverse side of the coin is a design with a central area bearing the word 'LIBERTAD' surrounded by an outward radiating fan of points. Beneath this is written '*8 R. C.A 1894. !. S 10DS. 20 GS.' The coin is dull grey brown on this side and bright silver on the reverse. [LKG 02/12/2009]
