- Long description
- Waistcoat for a child. The main body of the waistcoat is made of plain black cotton textile and lined with plain navy blue cotton textile. The arm holes are edged in dark red printed cotton textile (printed with a floral? pattern) and decorated with gold braid. The waistcoat has been sewn together by machine. The machine stitching has been made into a decorative feature around the collar of the waistcoat. The waistcoat has been embroidered all over by hand in geometrical designs. There are bands of small glass beads (mainly white) and also a band of lozenge shaped red beads. There are plastic shirt buttons stitched all over the waistcoat and in a band at the base. On the back of the waistcoat, just below the collar, three key rings have been attached. They are promotional key rings. Also, metal chains have been attached to the back of the waistcoat.
