2001.30.20.1Pair of shoes. The shoes have soles of leather and curve upwards towards the toe which is pointed. The uppers are made of red leather which has been covered in red velvet embroidered nearly all over with gold wrapped yarn and sequins. The inside of the soles is also lined with red leather and is embroidered in gold with a floral design. These shoes were probably made to be worn by a man at a wedding. The soles show some signs of wear but not significant. [MdeA 15/4/2002]2001.30.20.1
