Long description
Wooden headrest with curved head support, carved and decorated stem and base with local repairs using wire. The headrest is decorated with geometric carved patterns on both sides and triangular perforations. The base has two local repairs using brass wire that has been ?hammered in to the wood on either side of two cracks. The headrest has a string carrying loop that is tied to the centre of the headrest, just below the head support. [SM (Verve) 12/02/2014]
