16: similar to specimen entered as ?Burma but labelled on specimen (by Balfour?) 'Manipur'. Ascribed to J Dalton Woodthorpe.

This might actually be part of the Polo saddle from Manipur from Col J. Johnstone mentioned in the 1884 Annual Report of the OUMNH, see prm possibles for entry [AP 11/10/2013]
