- Long description
- The whip-sling [.1] consists of a straight stick, with a length of twisted string that was originally bound to it at one end and hangs down, the string is now detached from the object and tied to it in two places with museum string. The end of the string that was not originally attached to the whip-sling is fraying and has a small knot on the end. The dart [.2] has a leaf shaped tip and flat spatula shaped butt. The shaft is square in section immediately below the tip and tapers along its length to the flattened butt. The width of the shaft is the same all the way along. [SM 25/11/2008]
