Long description
Agricultural gathering-fork or "bale". It consists of a cylindrical rod of wood with a socketed metal hook at one end and two long metal prongs, evenly spaced along the rod. Both prongs have a ring socket by means of attachment and extend through a long curve to a point. The hook turns 90 degrees and is leaf-shaped. At the opposite end an attachment loop of leather is held in place with two nails. [JC [OPS Move] 4/1/2017]
