Long description
Brass male figure with long top-knot. His right hand is on his hip while he holds a rifle in his left hand. The rifle is resting on his left shoulder. The rifle is resting on his left shoulder. For the base see 2022.30.1.1 and for seven other brass figures see 2022.30.1.2-8.

A similar piece can be found in the British Museum collection. Accession number: Af1947,33.15 It has eight independently cast figures that slot into brackets on the base. The larger central female figure has a large basket like vessel on her head with the top shaped into a cockerel.
