- Sword with curved single edged blade and decoratively carved wooden hilt [For sheath 1912.31.8 .2] The sword blade is slightly curved and has a decorative projection at the base, near the grip. The butt projects to one side and is decorated with a carved and incised scrolling motif. The grip is made from ridged bands of copper alloy. [SM 15/04/2008]
