- Description
- Rectangular twill-woven mat with purple chevron patterns and black woven border sewn on with natural plant fibre.
- Long description
- Rectangular twill-woven mat. The weaving forms a succession of bands pointing in perpendicular directions: 11 bands pointing widthwise and 10 bands pointing lengthwise. The mat is decorated with purple chevron patterns made with dyed fibre. A central pattern is formed by a succession of groupings of 3 chevrons interspersed with single chevrons with some partial motifs at each end going in opposite directions. Along one side, elongated chevron patterns point widthwise, whereas on the opposite side there are no decorations. A black dyed twill-woven boarder is sewn on with thick natural plant fibre all around the mat with reinforced fastening at each corner.
