Description
Wooden cattle bell.
Long description
Cattle bell of wood, roughly semicircular in shape with rounded sides and a concave upper edge. There is a narrow mouth at the base. A knotted string is threaded through two small holes in the top, to which two knobbed clappers are attached, inside the bell. At the top two 'corners' of the bell are two more perforations on each side, surrounded by a carved ring. One side of the bell has Indian script written on in black ink.
