Research and responses

The Pitt Rivers Museum received a number of flint implements from Randall MacIver's work at el Amrah because the Pitt Rivers Museum's curator, Henry Balfour, was asked to comment on them. His account of 'the entire series' was published on pages 44-46 of the 1902 excavation report. [AS 15/06/2012]

According to the British Museum Dictionary of Ancient Egypt by Ian Shaw and Paul Nicholson the Predynastic period is from 5500-3100 BC. [MJD (Verve) 17/10/2016]
