The body of the toboggan is made from six rectangular strips of wood which are screwed onto three cross pieces, which rest on six short uprights. 1938.35.1300Metal scissor candle snuffers. Dome shaped finger holes with flat bottoms. The arms or finger blades are made of slightly trapezoidal rectangles which attach to crescents which terminate in birds heads - giving the overall appearance of swans' necks. There is a raised boss around screw. The snuffer box is cylindrical. The tip of the object is broken off and missing, and therefore the foot below the tip is also missing.
