Long description
Hide container (box or bag) [1906.40.7 .1] painted with red pigment along the sides and decorated with black pigment in floral designs on the front. The container holds ten cane / bamboo cartouches with wooden? stoppers covered with cotton textile painted red and black [1906.40.7 .2 - .11]. Attached to the container with fibre strings are a basketry bullet holder and wooden stopper for the bullet holder [1906.40.7 .12]. The stopper is painted red and the basketry bullet holder red and black. [MdeA]
