Long description
Spear comprising a cane shaft to which a very long and bowed wooden foreshaft has been bound. Bound to the tip of the foreshaft is a fragment of resin, into which a blade, now missing, would have been set. This has been partially painted red. The binding is in animal gut or sinew. [JMC [OPS move] 9/8/2018]
