- Pair of ornamental leather sandals
- Long description
- , the sole of many pieces stitched together with thong, the uppermost part cut to form upstanding pieces along the sides of the foot. The side pieces are perforated along their top edges for the threading through of thongs from the insides then up over the instep knotted and held together in 2 groops [sic] by 2 leather rings either side of the decorated continuation of the toe strap by the sides of which is a loop for the big toe. There is a second toe strap to go between the toes
