- Leather bottomed wooden container. Wooden core is open at both ends and covered with camel-hide roughly half way up the vessel. Incised decoration around the tio of the wooden core and it also has a hide carrying strap. For the separate hide-lid see [1999.20.15 .2] [RM [OPS move] 20/9/2016]
- Long description
- Leather-bottomed wooden container with separate lid. The wooden core is open at both ends, the base being covered with camel-skin (actually two pieces stitched together) that continues roughly half-way up the sides. Hide carrying strap. Separate hide-lid. There is incised decoration (pyroengraving?) around the top of the wooden core. [JC 1 7 1999]

The seat, stem and feet are decorated with aluminium studs and beads hammered into the wood.
