Copy of a Khoisan painting
Long description
Picture of six figures painted on yellow/grey card. The figures are outlined and then filled with black, white and red/brown paint. Three of the figures are carrying pointed black spears. They are hunting two quadrupeds. Written bottom left of the card 'Grey Collection.' Written bottom right - 'Cave at Mangolong, Maluti (J. M. Orpen)'. Written on the reverse - '13' and 'From the cave at Mangolong, in the Maluti'. Stamped on the reverse 'ALEXANDER MCGREGOR MEMORIAL MUSEUM, KIMBERLEY'. [MdeA 7/6/99]
