Copy of a Khoisan painting.
Long description
Picture of five figures painted on grey card. The figures are outlined and then filled with black paint. One figure has white spots painted on the black all over it. Written bottom left of the card 'Grey Collection. Cape Town' and bottom right ''From a tracing by J. M. Orpen. From the upper cave at Mangolong, in the Maluti.' Written on the reverse '12' and 'Natives. 3 men with keries and assegais, 2 women. From the Grey Collection, Cape Town.'. Stamped on the reverse 'ALEXANDER MCGREGOR MEMORIAL MUSEUM, KIMBERLEY'.
