Long description
An arrow with plain hard wood head. This arrow has black pigment designs at intervals on the shaft. The head is bound to the bamboo shaft with plant fibre. This arrow is identical to 8 others which are tied together with plant fibre string [1996.40.76 - 84], only the lengths differ. The arrows have been stored in the rafters so that they have been smoked by the fires. These objects and the previous 10 others were enclosed by a woven plant fibre ornament [1996.40.85] [AP 25/2/99]
