Long description
Beadwork covered bird figure with two metal legs. The original legs of this bird have been broken off and have been replaced with a metal screw and a metal nail. The tail of the bird is made of strings of red seed beads. The beadwork has been worked over a solid form of unknown composition but which appears to have been covered first with some sort of stringwork. This object is mounted together with 1913.48.43 on a wooden block. [MdeA IB 2/3/99]
