Long description
Carved figure of ?feline head. Carved from a dark wood, in the shape of a head at one end, and a curved section attached to the other, possibly part of a bowl or vessel originally. Feline figure carved with an open mouth, ridged nose, and small protruding ears. Has incised lenticular eyes, and incised decoration framing the eyes. Carved ?leaf-pattern on the top of the head. Decorated with a band of incised lines around the curved edge. [IL [OPS Move] 29/6/2017]
