- Dagger [.1] with double edged decorated blade and brass bound hilt. With leather bound wooden sheath [.2] with tassel. The dagger is decorated with stamped serrated crescent shapes on both sides. The hilt is wooden and bound with strips of brass. The pommel is rounded and is also bound with beaten strips of brass. The sheath is bound with one piece of leather which is stitched along the back. It is decorated with incised patterns and grooves and the leather is a light and dark brown colour. It has a large tassel of leather strips attached to the tip and secured with a plaited leather ring. There is a loop of plaited leather with a plaited leather button at the top of the sheath for attaching it to a belt/carrying it. [SM 27/04/2007]
