- Ceramic double whistling vessel of blackware. [MOBB [OPS move] 16/03/2016]
- Long description
- Blackware double chamber vessel. It comprises two adjacent almost spherical bodies, each with a straight, long narrow neck. There is a hole to link the two chambers and the necks are joined by a slightly arching bridge of clay. The top of one of the necks is surmounted by a whistle in the form of a small bird. Otherwise there is no surface decoration on the piece, although the black 'reduction ware' colouration is mottled. [MOBB [OPS move] 16/03/2016]
