Long description
Six stringed board zither. Single string strung across the length of the zither through notches cut in each end. The rim of the body has simple geometric decoration in dark brown staining and incisions. There are three cross-shaped sound holes cut in the base of the zither and one slot perforation on the rim. These zithers are usually balanced on something, a gourd box etc. which resonates the sound.
