1923.85.313Conical basket-work hat ornamented with red and yellow plaited grass-work. It has a crest of red-dyed goats' hair from front to back, a thin slice from a horn on either side, also ornamented with longer strands of goats' hair, and two lengths of cane with strands of red (and on the longer, white) -dyed goats' hair which act as stiffened 'tassel'-like forms extending from the back of the hat, near the crown. It has a chin-strap of plaited cane.1923.85.313
