Description
Double reed pipes.
Long description
Double reed pipes resembling the Anglesea hornpipe. Twin pipes with 5 fingerholes in each, set in channel made by a larger reed split in half; curved bell mouth of cow horn with serrated edge. At upper end a small gourd air chamber and mouthpiece combined encloses two sounding reeds of clarinet type, as in arghool and zummarah.
