Research and responses: Note that the two entries give a different purchase date. The entry in the Balfour book quite clearly says the 14.5.1912. Either the 14 on the catalogue card was mistakenly interpreted as 19, or one of the dates was written down incorrectly in the accession & card entries. [CF 19/12/2000]
