1884.109.19Musical instrument: 'bell' type resonator, on either side of the bottom of the resonator are two holes which could have been for a rattling bar which is now missing. The backrest is made of a separate slice of wood, the bar of iron, the bridge a thin low iron strip set in resonator. The is a low raised wall on either side of the belly. At the bottom of the resonator is a rattle bar with 6 rattles. The backplate is a strip of iron with a raised dot decoration, a bar wire passes through 7 holes separating the tongues and holding them to the back plate. [HLR]1884.109.19
