Description
Lamellophone with gourd resonator [1906.78.1 .2].
Long description
Lamellophone with gourd resonator [1906.78.1 .2]. The back rest a separate thin slice of wood, the bar and bridge of iron. The bar is held down at 5 points by wire which passes through the back plate. Back plate is of iron with a punched hole design. A cord holds board to resonator. 4 pieces of shell remain on the rattling plate, one of these is held by a red bead the others by string. [HLR]
